We believe that leadership in Franklin Township should be defined by two things: a deep, personal history with our community and a proven professional record of getting things done.
Between us, we bring 50 years of combined law enforcement experience and 70 years of deep family roots in this township. We aren’t career politicians; we are two neighbors who have spent our lives protecting the public. We are stepping forward to offer steady, disciplined leadership to ensure Franklin remains the place we all love to call home where families and seniors can thrive.
Philip Venticinque
Neighbor. Marine. Public Servant.
Phil’s commitment to service began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Sergeant. That foundation of discipline and duty followed him into his career in law enforcement, where he currently serves as a Lieutenant.
While his professional life is spent managing public safety and complex budgets, his heart is in the community. As a father of five, Phil is deeply invested in the quality of our schools, the safety of our neighborhoods, and the future of our town. You’ll often find him on the local ball fields as “Coach Phil.”
Phil believes that a growing town needs an executive approach, one that prioritizes infrastructure, respects the taxpayer, and ensures that our growth never outpaces our ability to provide essential services. His mission is clear: Phil wants Franklin to keep its rural character and remain an affordable, safe community; not just for today, but for the future.
Eugene J. Caldwell II
55-Year Resident. A Legacy of Local History.
You can’t protect a community’s character unless you truly understand its history. Eugene’s family has been part of the fabric of Franklin Township for over 60 years. He grew up here, he stayed here, and he has spent 35 years as a law enforcement professional dedicated to the safety of our region.
Eugene understands that Franklin’s rural, agricultural heritage is its greatest asset. He is running to ensure that we manage the challenges of growth with common sense. For Eugene, it’s about making sure that the families who have been here for generations, and the new families moving in for a better life, can all afford to stay in a town that still feels like a community.
Our Vision for Franklin Township
We are focused on the practical, everyday issues that affect your family’s quality of life. We see the details that often get overlooked, the fading road striping, the neglected infrastructure, and the mounting pressure of overdevelopment.
Our mission is to bring a professional, executive-level focus to the Township Committee, centered on:
- Responsible Growth: We must fight the push for overdevelopment to protect our rural identity, our forests, and our farmlands. Growth should benefit our residents, not strain our resources.
- Taxpayer Defense: Every dollar of the municipal budget belongs to you. We will apply the same budget discipline we’ve used in our professional careers to ensure your taxes are managed with absolute transparency and respect.
- Infrastructure Excellence: From fixing our roads to ensuring clear, safe road striping, we believe the basics of local government must be done right, every time.
- Public Safety & Youth: We will ensure our first responders have what they need to protect us, while continuing to support the sports and recreation programs that keep our kids active and engaged.
Franklin Township is a special place with a unique heritage. We are ready to work for you to keep it that way.
With respect and resolve,
Philip Venticinque & Eugene J. Caldwell II
